Great Events are Happenning at Blue Heaven!!
Blue Heaven is proudly presenting...  a 'DOUBLE HEADER' on Saturday September 27th !!
Blue Heaven is having an Open House on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 10 a.m. til 4 p.m. at its facility at 40285 SE George Road, Estacada (directions can be found here ). Our phone number at Blue Heaven is 503-630-2250.

There will be horse and rider demonstrations, tours, sales and a video, along with pizza and refreshments. All are welcome to join us and meet our therapy horses.

The Open House coincides with our second therapist workshop (noon-3:30pm), which gives the visitor the best understanding of how horses help heal people. We will have a painted horse, Buddy; his bones will be painted on one side with his muscles on the other. This shows how a horse's gait matches its human rider.
Carrie Perry, Executive Director, will be speaking on Therapeutic Riding and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy at noon and Richard Ernst (LCSW) at approximately 1:30 p.m. Board members will be present to answer any questions and help with a tour of our facility.
